going from a 98 a4 w68 PCM to a 2000 a4 y87 (I have the gears installed) is it a simple plug and play swap or is it more in depth?

The 98 is mechanically operated. The 00 is electrically operated(drive by wire). I believe that the computer would trigger a fault code because it wouln't see a signal from the accelerator pedal but it would see a change in signal from the TPS. I’m new. I actually don’t own a Camaro or firebird. I do have a 2000 Camaro 3.8 fly by throttle and 4l60e. This is installed in a 1980 Triumph TR7...1 week ago -
