  • Front Fender - Plastic or Fiberglass?

I've done some searching and I'm still not convinced which it is. Can anybody help me out and tell me which it really is, or if its something else?
    Thanks.

Fenders are NOT fiberglass, OR metal.

They are a "plastic", but it also is not polyurethane, which is used for the front and rear bumpers. It is more rigid, more like a member of the PVC family. Push on the different panels and you'll see the difference.

I'll work on trying to get the name of the actual material, good trivia.

oops, i thought you were talking about the front bumper which is polyurethane. the fenders are fiberglass for sure. My car got hit in the front about a year and half ago and the fenders snap just like fiberglass. I think the only metal panels on the car are the hood and quarter panels. the doors and fenders are fiberglass, bumpers polyurethane, quarter panels/hood metal.

Yeah, front quarters, doors and hatch are fiberglass. I hit a deer and my front fender ripped like that. The bumper covers are some kind of plastic. They crack leaving sharp edges.
