  • problems starting up the car

every now and then when i start up my car it fires up like the ignition turned over but really the car hasnt started and just the radio comes on. then i give it a second and and turn the key again and it fires up fine. i really have no idea why its doing this. it seems to happen every once in a while but becomes annoying. i havent gotten my spark plugs and wires changed yet and im planning to do that soon. could it be that or a starter or bad ignition? anyone that has had this problem i am all ears.

    Tune up might help.
Maybe battery is a little on the low side.
    Maybe fuel pump's getting lazy.
    Maybe clogged fuel filter.

I'd start with #1 and 4 on the list.

could be a number of things. could be your starter, could be your fuel pressure regulator, could be the purge solenoid, its a shot in the dark from my perspective. Ive had the same problem forever, like it turns over but doesnt start for a while and if i try again it starts right up.
