    hello i own a 1995 3.4 camaro

i was leaving work one day and my car felt a bit off..You just know when your car doesnt feel right well mine did.. I have a hard time getting any power even when i have it floored.. All i hear is a loud whislte sound thats not my intake.. i changed plugs today for some reason i though it was that.. but i saw a auto zone guy and he said it might be a clogged air filter or a vaccum leak in the car.. so im very confused.. i has a hard time winding out and picking up speed.. but no vibrations just a loss of power and a loud *** whislte sound... please help a man who misses his torque

You could try getting a vacumm gage and testing what the vacumm is at different throttle positions. Just pull a vacumm line off from somewhere, maybe from the evaporation canister purge solenoid. It's on the drivers side of the upper intake manifold and has two lines going to it. One joins the bundle of the fuel line and fuel return line and the other is the vacumm line. Pull off the one that doesn't go to the fuel line bundle and put the vacumm gage on it. Vacumm at idle with throttle compleatly closed should be around 18-20inHG. Then as you open the throttle that value will go down to 0. If it's 15 or less at closed throttle you probably have a vacumm leak somewhere.

Also just look around for obvious vacumm hoses that have come loose. There's a lot of stuff that can come lose up on top of the upper intake by the fuel rail.
