After a couple years of having to crank my car for 5-6 seconds before it would start I finally took my car into the shop and had the replace the fuel pressure regulater. It now starts like it was brand new again. I don't know if people are still wondering about this problem or not but i know it's pretty common. I wanted everyone to know that it cured my ills. It cost about 180 bucks at the dealership. And I already had the part from when I was planning on doing it myself. a little fyi post
