  • Fuel Filter maybe?

I drive a 97 A4, 3.8L Camaro that has 67,751 miles on it. The gas mileage has been getting progressively worse lately. I used to get about 22-23 mpg in the city, but since I had the headers, exhaust, cat and CAI, I only get 15-18. Theoretically, I should get better gas mileage with it breathing better right? I have not changed the fuel filter since I bought it (it had 48,xxx on it then). Could that be the problem?

Even if its not the problem I need to change the filter anyhow. Where is it on our cars?

    Thanks in advance.

def. replace the fuel filter since you haven't yet and who knows when the previous owner did it if at all.
