Apparently Texas Speed don`t do 3.4 litres. I`ll look into other tuning companies...but my gf makes me feel guilty everytime I buy something for the Camaro...apparently she thinks going on vacation at the end of the summer is a better investment than mods for the Camaro...I think gf`s are bad investments, but anyways...j/k!
Also I`ve done a bit more research and I`m looking for a Jet Stage 2 for a reasonable price now. I know I said stage one before, but I`ve had a lot of time to read since then...Stage 1 chips are for stock setups. I`m likely going to change out my stock exhaust when I get the money or whenever/if ever it rusts through, and change the headers so I`d probably go with a stage 2.

don't bother with the 3.8L. get a tuner or do a mail order tune.

Is the Jet chip for the 3800 (manual) recommended?

I would use the hypertech power programmer.I used that on my car with great results, just plug in the diagnostic port and you're on your way, plus you have way more options to program to get better performance.

Hey Fatcat... I am getting my HPP 3 on Tues, thanks to Summit Racing sending me a second unit.... long story. But anyways... I was reading up on it, and was wondering what RPM ranges you used for shift points? And any other recomendations. :-) You can email me so we're not high jacking someones thread! Thanks!
