  • went to autozone...three different codes...

i went to autozone and came up with three different codes,

    p0133
    p1133
    p1870

does anyone know what each of the codes mean?

i did have a weak starter, but just replaced it yesterday after i had the codes read...could my starter problem have been one of the codes?

and my ses had been off for awhile, till i got on the highway

    thanks for the help people

They should have had the OBD-II code books to tell you what was wrong. There is a page with all of the meanings for the codes floating around. Search.

P0133 O2 Sensor Circuit Slow Response (Bank 1 Sensor 1)
      P1133 HO2S Insufficient Switching Bank 1 Sensor 1
      P1870 Transmission Component Slipping

I would have to say you are having problems with you O2 sensor and tranny

Basically you need to change your 02 sensors, and prepare for a Tranny rebiuld with the sonnax kit... Mine went out at like 140K with that code... costed me $1,200 and that was DIRT CHEAP... Normally they're like $1,500 - $1,800...

It won't do it all the time with the tranny code... The process takes high speed driving for like 20 minutes or more but when the tranny heats up it'll throw the code and SES...

AZ Books don't tell the true meaning of P1870...
