Ok, well I figure I'll start this one up for myself and anyone else out there. I'm currently running a 2001 Camaro 3800. I'm looking for some beginning mods for my car, not sure exactly where to start. Current mods include: K&N Air Filter, Magna Flow Exhaust, Straight pipe w/ 02 Sim.

3.42 gears and LSD are always a good mod, from there you can start getting some good traction by getting SFC's, LCA's, PHR. In case you don't know SFC's are subframe connectors, LCA's are lower control arms, and PHR is parnhard bar.

The whisper lid would compliment your car nicely, and I personally recommend a 180 or 160 stat as far as initial mods go. Doing the !MAF Screen mod is optional, I have mine gone but it probably doesn't make much of a difference. On my previous firebird (2000) I noted a 5rwhp increase doing it on the dyno, so thats my reason for it.

Run good lubricants and enjoy the car, welcome to the board.

Something really basic, I would use Mobile 1, if your not already using it. I was using regular oil, then switched, and I noticed a huge difference in how the engine ran much better.
