ok well i deff have no canister for the evap system. the braket is there but like i said no caister and hockeyman and i were under the car and the line isn't there either.
now my question is with a walbro fuel system would they delete that? that is one thing that someone else did to my car. so i have no idea. i'm goign to try to replace the purge soli. hopefully that's it. any ideas?
by the way, you do have a canister or you did. Its on top of the tank towards the back. you might be able to see the big box from underneath. I might be able to help if you tell me a code of something.
Also, diagnosis should only be an hour labor. how is that more expensive than evap parts? there is a lot of things that could be leaking or not performing properly to make your throw the various evap codes. I read your other post, and you never listed the code you got.
take some vaseline and rub it around the rubber oring of the cap. then reinstall it or just buy a new one. make sure u clean the fill tube where the cap goes. (i use windex and a rag. seems to work)
cycle the fuel pump 2 or 3 times to build pressure then start the car. if its the cap the code should disappear.
if not then your heading in the right direction with the evap stuff.
i had it pressure tested, blldogg do you have a more detailed pic. cause i went under my car and does have that box on top. and there is a black tube coming down that says flamible that isn't connected to anything. i traced all my fuel lines and they are all connected. could that be the vent. but i tought that there was a white cap on the end. did i just lose it?
let me try to get you a picture that i have of a simple layout of whats going on back there so you can try to chase stuff down. Im having trouble pulling it off SI and on to here but let me work at it.
Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
