I have the MSD 8.5mm Super Conductor wires and the NGK Iridium TR55IX's and they are great!!! Not sure about cleaning the TB w/out removing it.

New air filter. If you don't already have K&N or Airhog, get one.

Check your serpentine belt to see if the ribs are splitting or it's worn.

Some people also like to run seafoam through their engines. I did this and it burned off a lot of carbon. Better outside of the engine than inside. :D

That might be a remote possibility. I didn't have any trouble running seafoam on my 170K mile engine though. No leaks.

everything that has been said so far. and at the begining of the post you said that you were going to have it done, right? everything that has been listed is very easy to do (plugs and wires are a pain, but not hard), you should do it yourself. also, you might consider changing the oil in the diff. and changing the trans fluid.
