will this alternator http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...MakeTrack=true work in my 98? and on that note is it normal for my voltage gauge to vary anywhere from 13 volts to the next mark probably around 16 or 17 volts?

Re: alternator question
I dont really know if that will fit your car but yes, it i normal for it to vary at any given time based off temp, load, etc.

Re: alternator question
the guy said it will fit, i think my alt may be a source of part of my belt whine because if i put a slightly damp scotch pad on its pulley while its going my whine goes away for a very short time, i think i'll replace my belt and alt, hopefully that solves my problemsLast edited by bah; 05-07-2006, 09:35 PM.
