I got an SES code last week. I took it to auto zone and had them scan, they said it doesn't give any feedback. Not that nothing comes up that is wrong, the guy says he is not getting any feedback whatsoever.
So what do i do now?

Are you still getting the SES light? They're supposed to clear out of the system after x starts without the same issue.

Was the code on when they looked at your car? Like the light actually on while he tested it?
If not, its autozones gay actron scanners, they cannot read stored codes. The code as to be "active" and displayed for it to read... Pretty much all the places that offer free tests use the same orange Actron code reader.
If you can get the code to flash, drive up to a autozone, leave your car running(I took my door key off and locked the doors behind me) and have them scan it. They can read it with the car despite the guy telling you to shut the car off and put it in the "on" position.
Other then that you will have to have your code scanned by GM which is probably a few $100...
notice any problems with your car recently? We might be able to figure it out...
By the way if your Computer wasn't working, your car would not run. He is jsut using the scanner wrong, his scanner is broken, or he is just a dumbass...
I mean Shane works at autozone... so you see the kinda people they hire there... ;)

Yea every time I talk to Shane about it he tells me the guy is a dumbass, I know Shane works at autozone. I'm gonna try to reset the ECU or whatever and see if it comes back. The car is driving normally and isn't showing any signs of malfunction or anything.

Probably not the problem but just something to check, mine did that once, turned out the fuse for the cig lighter (also the fuse for the OBDII connection port) had blown. And since the autozone scanners use the cars power to run they got no feedback from the car. Just an idea
