  • Is this normal for the Temp gauge?

My car is usually always running at the halfway mark on the temperature gauge. It does go down under that sometimes though. Is it normal for a 3.4
    A4 to do this? Thanks.

Yes, it's normal for your temp gauge to measure temperature of the coolant. ;)

What is "normal" depends on what thermostat you have. My car runs at 180.

If you car runs at the same temp every day, then yes, your guage is reading roughly what your thermostat is trying to achieve. In such case, this is "normal".
