  • Fog Light Recommendation

Right now, I have NO fog lights on my car. The guy who bought the car did NOT have an cash and got BONE stock. He even let lovebugs eat away at the front fascia. :spank: Anyway.... I would like to buy some GOOD fog lights that are BRIGHT as all hell with fireworks going off (that would be very bright I imagine). I remember seeing a website that starts with a "p". I know that sucks for help, but that's all I remember. They looked like they were good. If anyone could recommend some really nice fog lights that will mount in the stock "hole" I would be very thankful.

P.S. I did a search and dug and dug but I couldn't find what I was looking for. "Fog Light" kinda is broad. :p

the ebay ones look like OEM replicas, I think thats what you'd want. Cheap and good. Just put some nice bulbs in there and you'll be fine.

so the piaa aren't worth the extra 80 bux? so buy bulb "x" and place in the oem fog light and that should be sufficient? that'd be great if that's the case...

yeah, that would work fine for you, cheap, and probably better than stock, but i believe the piaa will deff give you more light if you use them often they might be worth it

              Re: Fog Light Recommendation

Brighter bulbs do not work well for fog lights. The general idea is to have them less bright and angled down so they are useful in fog.

Then again, for reasons unknown, people drive with them all the time.

well the piaas are driving lights, not fog lights, hence driving with them.....

to be useful for driving, they would have to be angled higher up. IANAL, but I think there are laws against that.

:D Gotcha. I ended up w/the PIAA's b/c I do want a good output that I don't feel I could get from fogs. I won't be using them on major roads and such, but I sure could use some extra driving lights. They seem pretty darn good.
