well my serpatine is squelling now. so i went to advance auto and they want 40 dollars for my belt. pepboys wanted 44. no for 60 dollars i can get under drive pulleys and belt. but i'm scared about my charging system..
what should i get?
95 camaro 3.4 < Jc whitney Exhaust, Chrome intake stage 2, Rk sport headers, msd dis-4, 160*thermo, Jet stage 2 chip, black racing stripes.

91 Camaro rs 5.0 tbi gone but not forgoten
Call around some more parts stores, 40 is a little steep for those belts. Alot of people tried to get 40 to 50 bucks out of me for a belt, but autozone had one for $18 and unless you're flogging the hell out of that motor all the time at high RPM's you don't have to worry about running cheapy belts with your setup.
If you can't find one for cheaper than 40 then by all means go with the underdrive setup.
If you're worried about your charging system because of the underdrive, don't.
My buddy has underdrive pulleys with a 3000 watt stereo system. The only problem he has ever had was his battery died once from running the stereo without the car on for awhile.
The stereo drained him, then the start took all the battery had and he didn't leave it started long enough to give the battery a charge.
Hey everyone! I've been trying to remove my transmission for two days now! I need to replace the clutch. Only thing I've got left holding the transmission...
