  • Headlights Need Help

I got a 95 camaro with only 60k miles on it and tonight I went to start it up and drive to my step dads house and my headlights wont turn on. I don't know what is wrong with them. the high beam works fine it's just the low beam and both of them don't work. I pulled the headlight out (not the bulb that mofo is in there and ain't coming out) and unplugged it and tested it with a continutity tester and there was no continutity. I turned the headlight switch on and there was continutity but only one way. I first thought this was normal cuz the switch has to be on in order for electricity to flow but then I took out the high beam and tested it and there was continutity flowing through it even though the headlight switch was off and the high beam was off. I checked the owners manual and my haynes manual and both of them talk about a headlamp circuit breaker but they don't say where it is located all they say is to take it to a dealer. Any suggestions of what it could be.

Your headlights are sealed units - the bulbs aren't changeable. Need new low beams - PepBoys or AutoZone carry - cheap.

yep must be the low beams. i brought it into my auto class and took out the headlights and turned the switch on and checked it with a test light and its getting power so the bulbs must be burnted out. any one know why they make them sealed so you cant change the bulbs?
