is my original thread.
It was working fine, then died on me.
My compression #s:
6-80..............5-100
4-95..............3-93
2-100............1-80psi
Shouldnt my compression be like 120-125psi?
I didnt use anything on the head gaskets...just torqued the bolts down
Maybe I blew both head gaskets from high AFRs?

im guessing thats non running comression? from those reading, you have a dead cylinder in all cylinders. you need to do a cylinder leakage test and find out were all of it is going.
running compression is the car running with only that cylinder plug out and the tester in. As far as the tool, I would look at sears or any other tool stores like harbor freight and such. fairly cheap if you buy a cheap brand.
there really is no telling what has happened. it could be almost anything. just get your hands on that tool. i bet you could evenr rent it for free from autozone or O'Reillys
I dont really know but I dont think a leak down tester is gonna find my problem for me. I think the best thing would be to just redo the head gasket swap for the 3rd time now.
This time use copper spray, and get a professional torque wrench.
I have a clicker torque wrench and a dial. I really dont know....

are ARP head bolts reuseable? They are $135. I would rather it be a stronger metal than chromemoly. Chromemoly is lightweight but strong. I'd just rather put chromemoly somewhere else... like the drivetrain/powertrain

Damn dude I woudl rather blow the $15 on the tool and check it right then pulle the heads and replace the headgaskets again.

Are the readings after having the heads seal ?starting the motor letting it run for a couple minutes then letting it cool . thr head gaskets dont make a perfect seal till this happens .
yes, i've run the engine after the swap. Then I ran it again and it died on me, now I cant start it at all and my compression on each cylinder is 80-100psi!
I dont really see how a gauge is gonna tell me anything special. It will tell me only what I already know: low compression.

Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
