    Cost of OEM ICM an Coil Packs?

    I have a 97 Camaro with a 3.8 that has a terrible misfire problem. It only happens when the engine is under load and about 1/2 to 3/4 throttle going up hills and stuff.

    I am going to change the ICM and Coil Packs. Does anyone know how much they cost for the parts only? I dont want MSD coils or anything, just OEM.

    Are these difficult to install?

    easy to install!
    ICM = $130?
    Coils = $35?
    not 100% sure, I bought these from Oreillys, they are MasterPro brand
    havent even used them cause mine are just fine
    I would sell these, since I dont need em
    2k2 camaro, K&N, SLP whisper lid, Konis, AEM, HP Tuners, Angel eyes/Halos, CF SS ram air hood, 4.10s, Zexel Torsen, UMI SFCs, CrossFire, BFGs, Gatorback, Catco, Flows, and TLC! DONT feed the Trolls!

      I bought Niehoff and they were about $40.00 x 3 for the coils & $135.00 for the ICM

        I got my coils from O'reilly's for about $20 ish.

        With the rest of the assembly in place, removing the back coil might be tricky with normal tools or without disassembling other stuff.

        It may save you a lot of money to try the coils first before the icm, and even one coil at a time.
