i want to move the battery to the back of the car and would definitely use like 3 guage wire but would I run into starting problems or things like that.

ie, harlans turbo kit, or in my situation, i could install a large air/water IC in the battery location.
I would use at least 0 gague wire, if you ever drive the car upnorth, in the winter. 3 might be ok, for warm starting, but i would run 0 or 00 if it was my car ;)

They make kits for our cars that have everything you need to safely relocate the battery to the rear where the spare tire goes. I'm sure someone will chime in and tell us where to find it. I've been out of the whole modding scene for a while and I don't remember where to find it. By the time you lose the spare, have to add all of that heavy wiring, and bother with a new mount and box, you've lost just about any gain you would have netted. Go with one of the $25 Hawker Genesis batteries (weighs 10 lbs or so, EXACTLY THE SAME AS THE EXPENSIVE DYNABATTS!) and just let it sit in the engine compartment. Works for me!

you asked if there were any problems, the only problem that i've heard/read is charging, make sure its a good battery and your alt. is good, and use at least 0 gauge wire...
