E-Brake light stays lit

The e-brake light in the 3.4 is staying on all the time. If you haven't guessed, it stays on even when the brake isn't up. Its done this before when i had it, but it only did it for about a day then the problem hasn't arising again until now. Any ideas?

happened to me once. i reset my computer and i was good to go.

I would disconnect the negative BAttery Terminal to reset everything . If that doesn't do it then the little Brake Sensor Switch is bad (no big deal !) :P

I have a 3.8 manual and I can move the shifter boot out of the way so that I can see the switch, so I don't have to pull the whole console. If you have a manual maybe you can do the same and see if something is broken off so its not pushing the switch down to turn the light off or maybe a broken wire. Or you could pull the console. These are just ideas........Good luck

my e-brake sensor is broke, the DRLs always come on.
