Pretty straight forward question. Is doing a burnout with a manual bad and or hurt the clutch? I can burnout quite well just flooring it after i let out the clutch in 1st, but for a reallly smokey/long one i usually rev it up to 2000-3000rpm, and pretty much dump the clutch and roast the tires well. haha i know that statement right there pretty much is a no brainer, dumping clutch=bad, but to an extent how bad is it on the clutch? This isn't something i do on a regular basis either, just every now and then for kicks.

If your not doing it on a regular basis and the rpms are relatively low then the damage done will not be that bad for it, it will shorten its lifespan only minorly. -

your clutch won't last as long as i should. if you want to do a wicked burn out just get a line lock.WAWA-A-HOLIC

Yeah i have to agree with Kristen Get yourself a line lock , but also take a look at SPEC CLutches stage 2 or 3 those can handle BEATINGS let me tell ya :PComment

my friend would do burnouts all the time in his vortech silverado.
