  • wat is the better mod?

i was wondering if anyone here recommended getting a z28 rearend over new rockers and cam.... im quite limited on cashflow...so cheaper yet more effective is better =) plus...im having the hardest time figuring out wat the best cam on a 3.4L would be without having to totally rework the engine, i understand the cam numbers, but i dont understand wat will and will not fit in the car.

I live about 30 mins from yorktown.......When I'm actually home...

For which is better...personally I'd go with a Cam and some rockers. The Z28 rear end really won't help you that much. A Y87 Rear end or a Custom rear end would be much better. (3.42's or even 3.73's You would get disc brakes with a Z28 rear, but You would get more power outta cam swap and rockers...

You can get z28 rear ends with 3.42's just make sure you don't get the 2.73's that would suck booty

              Hey-

I've been looking at cams and intake manifolds for 3.4's and the best i've found is the edelbrock package. I would reccommend getting the Intake manifold and the cam, since they are dyno matched, and the manifold is only like $160-.
If you really just wanna go for a cam, Crane Cams makes one that's pretty good. If you want more info on these check out www.summitracing.com.
