I had midas flush my coolant system and within like 5 months there were still soft chunks of goop in there. I flushed it again by myself a few months ago and put in the right mix of antifreeze and stuff, but now when I pull the little coolant dipstick there is goopy stuff where the water line is. and yes I flushed every coolant part, radiator, engine(running and not), overflow coolant thine(under the battery) and all hoses that came off, where is this slim coming from???

Are you using tap water or distilled water? The first time I flushed my coolant back in 2001, I noticed that gooey crap about a month later. Someone told me to use distilled water instead of tap water, and the goo went away.
There is still a brown substance that builds up in the overflow tank, but nowhere near as bad as before.

I had that really bad in my 96 V6. I was told all dexcool vehicles have problems with that stuff. It apparently doesnt cause any damage so GM doesnt do anything about it. It's more of a nuesance come time to flush your coolent system.2001 Firehawk #155 of 504 -M6
437 RWHP / 404 RWTQ -Dynojet (heads/cam)
12.34 @114 mph 1.7 60\' (bolt-ons only)
12.47 @116 mph 2.0 60\' (street tires, heads/cam)

Meineke can suck my left nut.
On a different note, does anyone know what to do with drained / flushed coolant? Ground, sink, or collection facility?

Give the old coolant back to GM and tell them to improve it!

Tire kingdom told me, after waiting for over 2 hours, it was oil in the coolant as well. I think they were either retarded or they were trying to scam me. I told them thanks for wasting my time and walked the F*CK out.
Just take it to the dealership, I actually had a pleasant first experience at the GM dealership, brought the car in at 9 was out at 12, exactly when he said it would.
The tech said that he flushed it and mud just came pooring out. I think Im getting a little better gas mileage now as well.

Or better yet, go have a tune-up done and try to use a couple of bottles as a partial payment. Tell 'em it's some sort of homebrew and to go easy cuz it's got a real kick to it
