Hmmm, that's a new one to me. I can't believe they want $200 bucks for them. YOu can make the wires for a fraction of the cost, and that still wouldn't matter. There is no HP gain to a stock engine; the spark from the factory is more than adequate. What a crock.

I have Nology wires on my engine. They definitely help. I don't think that the HP gain is accurate though and I don't know about the 300% spark boost.
I would like to know, however, how you can make them yourself. There is a built-in capacitor which stores energy until the plug is fired. Let me know what your thought are on this.

This is the description that I get from my Nology distributor:
HotWires create a tremendously powerful plasma discharge that ignites every fuel mixture, rich or lean, much better than a conventional spark. Combustion is more complete, resulting in increased horsepower and lower exhaust emissions. HotWires are engineered with a special built-in capacitor, exclusive only to HotWires. This revolutionary design allows spark energy to accumulate in the capacitor until the voltage reaches the ionization point. At that split second, the entire power of the stored spark is discharged at once. The resulting spark is up to 300 times more powerful. Combustion is faster and more complete, resulting in increased horsepower and a cleaner burn. Replacing conventional ignition wires with HotWires is the easiest way to increase the performance of any engine. HotWires can be custom-made to fit nearly any application.
* Easier Starting Engine
* Improved Acceleration
* No More Spark Plug Fouling
* Cleaner Combustion Equals Less Pollution
* Higher Efficiency
* Higher RPM Limits
* Lower Cycle to Cycle Variation
Average 2-5% Increase HP and Torque

Hope the wires shown are just a representative example,'cause they wont fit 3.8's,you need a small 90* boot.I contemplated getting them, but read a few actual tests on them,& most thought that you could do just as well with MSD's or like low resistance HP wires.BTW TPIS racing did the test that persuaded me to put my modification money elsewhere.They tested several types of wires including the NOLOGY, & had no HP increase by them.On an LS1 C5 with BOSCH+4 plugs they consistantly dynoed about 6+hp increase,just with that change.There is a current article in CORVETTE FEVER mag. that verifies the same results by the plug install.
Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
