• installing coils tomorrow

Hey I've got coils coming in tomorrow and I'm going to be putting them in. I've read on my last post about dielectric grease but I'm really not sure if it's involved in installing the coils. I know I have to pull off the spark plug wires from the towers on the coils. Am I supposed to put dielectric grease inside of the wire boots before I put them back on the coils? Or anywhere else? Also, any suggestions on making the installation go a bit easier? Thanks for any suggestions!

Only take the wires off of one coil at a time, unless you have marked the wires.

Be prepared to gouge the crap out of the back your hands :D .

Don't use too much dielectric grease, too much can cause air to get trapped in the boot, and it will keep pushing the plug off of the coil.
