• Blinker Problem

This has me a bit confused. My right blinker will sometimes light up and not blink... It usually works fine if im at a cruising speed, but if im stopped it wont work, it just lights up. Could I be out of blinker fluid?(LOL j/k i saw that in someone's sig... thought it was too funny) I am thinking it is a short, but where should i start to look, i hate taking apart the lights, and i just fixed it... Also the plastic on the bottom of the light hits a piece of metal every time i close it... could that be the problem? Thanks in advance!

Sounds similar to a problem that I had. Have someone get in the car and hit the brakes for you. Check to see if your running lights/turn signals glow a little (don't turn on signals for this). If they do glow I believe it is your ground that might be the problem. The ground is located in the trunk, under the carpet, behind the trunk lock.

Yeah it sound's like low blinker fluid to me.... I'd replace the bulbs, check the ground, and go from there..

Ok, its not the ground, the signal lights didnt glow. Although there are several wires around the lock, all seemed to be fine.

Replace the signal bulbs and your lights will blink again. I had to replace the daytime running lights on my bird and the blinking worked again.
The factory has the lights set up so if one of your lights go out, your turn signal stays on and wonk blink.

My DRLs used to burn out every 5 days, but I finally found the problem. There was a small pool of water inside the lens so everytime the water hit the hot bulb, it would explode. I has to replace both lenses and now they are great. Actually, with the new lenses, the DRLs are brighter.

ok...this sounds somewhat like my problem...my right side drl lights up when my headlights are on at nite, otherwise, its off. when i put on my right turn signal, the green arrow on the inside stays on. the left side of the car works fine...it was crappy when a cop was following me and i needed to make a right turn but didnt wanna get in trouble for no turn signal, so i had to keep making left turns...lol...any ideas what i need to do?

Mine hasn't done it in a while now. I checked the wires by the hatch lock and it started working fine. Must have been a loose one or something, but it isn't doing it anymore.
