Last time a got gas I put a bottle of Prestone Octane Booster in the tank just to see if it would make a difference with the new ECM program and all. Anyway, I says it boost the octane 1 number, so it's like it's running 94 octane. It did seem to have more power, but more importantly my MPG went from 21-22 to 26! [img]graemlins/banana.gif[/img] I couldn't believe it! I've never gotten better than 23 even when the car was stock. If you have custom programming, go buy some octane booster and try it out. I know it sounds silly...but 1 point of octane boost = 93.1 octane. I think prestone goes 10 points up though...some of them boost over 20 points.
did the weather warm up around you at all?
i see 25-26 combined during non winter months...22 in the winter.2011 Camaro LS 6M, in black. -
Yeah it warmed up about 20 degrees. Just wait till summer.
