limited budget stinks!

I just got a job at, don't laugh, McDonnald's :rolleyes: . I start thursday. I only have $200 at the moment and I want some kind of performance mod. I already have flowmaster exhaust, just the muffler :( . I will hopefully get my intake for christmas so that will take care of that. What else can I get to increase performance, perferably SOTP ;) , for only $200. I heard SLP sells 3.43 gears for $99, but will the fit in my carrier? I have a '95 3.4 M5. Any info is appreciated, thanks!

yep I know what you mena I am going to school... and work at a movie theater... took some time but I got promotred my way up to management, but I at 19 years old and in college I was tearing tickets at the front door.

If you have a 3.4, the only SOTP mods I'd go for would be either a turbo (talk to Tiago NOS'd Bird) or go nitrous. That would be me. Also gears/LSD is a good idea.

A turbo would be nice but its not really an option for my budget [img]smile.gif[/img] . I plan on doing an engine swap after I graduate, so I kinda need my engine to hold until then, that rules out NAAAAWWWS! :D What all do I need to go to 3.43 gears an an LSD?

if you're DEFINATELY swapping motors, don't waste time and money into your current setup. Just maintain it and save up.

Yeah, I was just about to edit my post too! [img]tongue.gif[/img] The money I make with my job I'm goin to put back for the LT-1. This $200 was just extra, so if I go with 3.42 :rolleyes: gears I could keep those after my swap. I just don't know what all I need to change.
