Hello! Im a total novice from Sweden who bought my first ever V6 Firebird yesterday. Its a 3.4L 1993 with only 46000 miles. Over here its relly hard to get hold of tuning for a V6 so I was searching for some export firms when I came across this nice forum. After reading some interesting threads I had to become a member.
Now my stupid novice question. I have already orderd a slp cold air induction kit. Can you old V6 veterans please list so even a novice from Sweden can understand what you think is the best four next steps to go for making this sleeping engine roar? For me every HP counts so if you think a jet chip can give me 10hp so mabye that is one of the steps I will take.I dont understand anything of that mailordertuning and stuff so i dont think I will get in to that. At this time I will be happy if I can change sparkplugs without help :) Is it possible to push 200hp for a reasonable amount. I cannot afford a turbo kit at this time
Another question: Im confused cause here in Sweden it seems to be two different V6 3.4 engines for the 1993 firebird. One has 148HP and the other 165 according to the Swedish car registration record. Do anyone here know anything about this?
Looking forward to get some answers, have a nice day!
