This might not belong here, but I was wondering, what people payed for their cars, and how old was the car when it was purchased. Also I'm curious if anyone thinks that the kelly blue book price for a car is really accurate.

I got mine brand new.

Retail: $22,000 (fully loaded minus ASR andconvertible)

BUT now lets rack off some money
I bought mine when the 2000 came out so I instantly got a $3000 rebate. Then I add another promotional value into it that took off another $2000. Then I traded in a car and well I paid $8995.

bought my '95 Camaro in '97, just two years old. I got it for $9800 and it only had 31,000 miles! It took 2 years for the BB value to go below what i paid for it. Of course i didn't find that one at the dealer though. Had to find someone selling one, you save so much money that way.

The first week of July 2002, I bought my 1995 3.4L Firebird with a 5 speed and 49531 on the odometer. Power windows, locks, driver seat, T-tops, Sony Xplod head unit. They gave it to me good at $9,500. First time buyer with no credit and and only $1500 down. Had to have a co-signer and she had bad credit (mom). I couldn't argue much with the price because I didn't search around enough. Oh well, it won't happen again when I go to buy a WS6 in about a year and a half or so. Hopefully I can turn into a hardass with the dealers by then.

99 Hugger Orange. Loaded with Y87, power everything, ASR, monsoon, the works. Had 20800 miles on it, and I got it in April 2001. Paid 8900 dollars for it. Have fun trying to figure that one out.
