I haven't started my camaro in prob 4-5 months. I've been out of town. I tried starting it a few mins ago, it wouldn't start. I jumped it and it started, as soon as i took the jumper cables off the car did. I got a new alternator no more than 51/2 months ago. I have a pretty new battery. Any ideas. My mom said to leave the cables on and give it a longer charge. Can that be it? Or can that hurt either of the cars?

Leave the "donor" vehicle running while doing that, otherwise the helping vehicle will be just as dead... ;)Check out my stable of supercharged W-Bodies HERE
\'97 Pontiac GP GTP Coupe
\'98 Regal GS | L67 3800 Series II
