I think either my tc is bad or the solinoid is messed up. It stumbles when the rpms are going from 2k to 1k ir when it hits the stall the it is suppose to be. It is stock and i have 103k miles on the car. Just wondering if i could bypass the solinoid and hook up and on/off switch to the inside of the car.

You might be able to do it pretty easy. There are only two wires that run to the torque converter clutch solenoid. When the PCM wants to lock the converter, it just grounds the connection. I don't know which wire of the two needs to be grounded (probably the black one), but a simple switch to ground on the correct wire should work.
In this picture, you can just make out the torque converter solenoid. It is in the front, on the right side, held down by two black bolts under the pink electrical connection.
One more thing, this will probably set off a SES light, and if your not careful about turning it on and off you will probably burn up the clutch.\'96 Camaro Convertible
