Today I went to get my oil changed and transmission fluid changed. (I'd normally do it myself, but it's kinda hard in a college parking lot.) Anyways, after getting it all done, I noticed that my engine was running alot hotter than normal. I thought maybe they left a radiator cap or something off when checking everything over, but it's all there, and everything is full. Any ideas on what could be causing the problem? Also, what is the average operating temp for a 3.8 V6? Maybe mine has just been running cold for a while. Thanks for the help.

Well I couldn't tell you the avg. operating temp cuz everyone's temp runs differently. My car rarely gets over 190 degrees when I'm on the highway. In the city it'll stay between 190-200. I'm running a 195 degree thermostat and everything to do with my cooling system is stock.1997 Camaro RS A4
3.08 Rear
http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/470169
Mods:
SLP Cold Air Intake
Flowmaster 80 Series Muffler
MSD Ignition Coils
Soon to be installed:
3.42 Gears
MSD Plug Wires
