    Harbor Freight (aka cutting corners?)
I'm thinking about a welder and tool chest / cart for christmas. Now, I've had some bad experience with sh**ty tools before, including snapping wrenches in half and spinning out the insides of snug sockets. Lets just say that I KNOW that if it ain't Craftsman its crap. So maybe I'm answering my own question ...
But if I wanted to snag a MIG welder (not for a roll bar, but maybe suspension, or at minimum exhaust), and a tool chest, maybe some other stuff, drill press, die grinder, air compressor ... Is Harbor Freight tolerable? Or should I invest the dough and get decent stuff?

    Thanks!
    -Rob

Actually Craftsman is crap, at least if.. err when, they break they'll give you a new one. Thats the only real reason to buy Craftsman and not really buy anything good.
