  • E-Brake, Low Traction lights on

Hello, i am new to this site.. it is sweet... but i am stumped on this one...

I drive a 3.4L 94 Blk Camaro with t-tops... it is manual and has no mods. I have a system but that should not effect this.
When i am driving my E-Brake light comes on and my Low Traction Light come on randomly at the same time... my e-brake it disengaged and i have brand new tires on my car... When i apply the e-brake without the warning lights on the e-brake light comes on by itself. Can anyone give me some input?

i have ran a scan tool and nothing has come up... cleared all codes... it still happens... nothing is really wrong just it is very annoying to see them come on for 5 seconds or w.e then shut off.

I had similiar problems when one of the ebrake cables was sticking. Replaced it and problem went away.

well when you have an ABS problem, it can turn your brake and traction control light on. its its own warning system.

Re: E-Brake, Low Traction lights on

i just put new pads and discs on my car, and i got new tires.. and new outer tie rods... i put it all on myself.. it was all very easy but the lights have come on more now that i did all of it... i had my instructor check everything i did and he said its all good... so why is it doing this now? and if it is my abs doing it... whats the best way to diagnose the problum?
