Ok so i just got my car back from the body shop today, got my Ram Air hood on finally. Will post pics later. But anyways, on the way home after about 20 mins the car started stalling when i came to a stop, and would take a few tries to start back up, i thought it might have been gas so i put some gas in it but that wasnt the problem, cuz it kept doing it. So then i bought some STP complete fuel system cleaner and put that in there and it was running good, was on express way going 90mph and went all the wya up to the mall and then left and it was fine then halfway coming home it started stalling again. I Dont get it, Fuel pump was replaced in November, Do i just have to keep driving it until those cleaner does its job?

Re: Car keeps stalling
Did it ever do this before you took it to the body shop? Did it idle rough before? And god damn this new forum, the profile sucks! Everyone has to guess what car everyone has. I think on your profile under where it says Biography we should all put out car type and year.Last edited by Ace; 06-11-2006, 08:09 AM.

Re: Car keeps stalling
No didnt do it before i took it there at all, never had this problem. Cept for when fuel pump went out, but yea car wouldnt start period, had to tow that home. Now it will start after about 4-5 tries. I think im gonna replace fuel filter tomorrow to try that. But yea i'm wondering if they like pissed in my gas tank or did something to clog up that ****, or just from it sitting in that dirty shop for 2 weeks.99\' W68 Firebird
SLP Ram air kit,Whisper Air Lid, k&n, 8mm Taylor Wires, Bridgestone Potenzas RE950, BMR Red LCAs, Pacesetter Headers and 3\"in catalytic converter with 2.75\" Flowmaster Cat-back

http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/501008

Re: Car keeps stalling
so yea, replaced the fuel filter, ran good and fine for 2 days then today, went to school and back twice even on highway once, and nothing, then goin bakc for third time started stalling again. Only stalled twice tho on whole way back home instead of at every light. But still that **** cant be happening. Its so embarrassing. So yea back to the start.99\' W68 Firebird
SLP Ram air kit,Whisper Air Lid, k&n, 8mm Taylor Wires, Bridgestone Potenzas RE950, BMR Red LCAs, Pacesetter Headers and 3\"in catalytic converter with 2.75\" Flowmaster Cat-back

http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/501008

Re: Car keeps stalling
Do you have any codes when it stalls? It's possible you got a defective fuel pump.Justin
2000 Black Firebird A4 Y87
170.2rwhp/203rwtq (SAE Corrected)

Re: Car keeps stalling
Nope no codes, Fuel pump was replaced last november, put a Walbro pump in.. So I'm hoping its not that, especially of the reputation that brand has. And when my fuel pump did go out, thats all it did was went out and car would not start at all.99\' W68 Firebird
SLP Ram air kit,Whisper Air Lid, k&n, 8mm Taylor Wires, Bridgestone Potenzas RE950, BMR Red LCAs, Pacesetter Headers and 3\"in catalytic converter with 2.75\" Flowmaster Cat-back

http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/501008

Re: Car keeps stalling
well could it be any kind of sensor, I just checked and i dont think i have any anti-freeze in there :( I know i have a leak and well after sitting 2 weeks it prolly all leaked out, and might be why its stalling after it gets hot enough? Usually temp gauge would just shoot to 210 degrees for a couple secs and thats it99\' W68 Firebird
SLP Ram air kit,Whisper Air Lid, k&n, 8mm Taylor Wires, Bridgestone Potenzas RE950, BMR Red LCAs, Pacesetter Headers and 3\"in catalytic converter with 2.75\" Flowmaster Cat-back

http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/501008
