no rev limiter???

no rev limiter???

I was wondering if someone who has owned the my car before me has had the rev limiter and speed limiter removed. I have had the car in neutral and ive reved it well over 4000 rpms and I have also had the car going 121 mph. I read that the car is suppose to have a rev limiter in neutral at 4000 rpms and that its speed is limited to 118. Its a 2000 with a manual tranny. I dont know if that makes a difference or not. So im a little confused.

sorry I cant help you with you question but I have the same thing..I can also rev well above 4000 rpm and I have a 94 3.4 auto.

I have a rev limiter and a speed limiter cause I top out at 119
