What do you think is the maximum amount of horsepower we could get out of these 3800 series II engines naturally aspirated? with what mods?

I'm guessing in the 500-600 hp range (400-500 rwhp) with forged internals, huge turbo with high psi, completely upgraded ignition and fuel system and a very beefy clutch/transmission, etc....Oh, and lots of $$$$$$$... -
1) he said n/a and 2) I'm sure we could get around 400-500 rwhp n/a with the right stuff and a **** load of money.

Oops I overlooked that...There is a sickeningly fast n/a 3800 series II Firebird driven by Harry Doolittle. Do a search on his name, some pretty interesting stuff.Comment

His current car is 2002 Firebird coupe, again with a Buick V-6 engine. With this car, Harry set a National Record that has proved to be the quickest e.t. ever run by a normally aspirated V-6 Stock class drag car at 12.53 seconds.Comment
