2 questions. I hear a lot of ppl talking about manual fan switchs.

#1 how is this important to have for your car on the performance side (what does it do).

#2 when do i turn it on/off? is it at high rpm, when im driving hard, etc.

the main purpose of the switch is to turn the fans on in the staging lane at the track to keep the engine temp down, but it can also be used in traffic, long drive-thru waits, and other times where the engine is prone to reach higher temps.
you can\'t get off if you don\'t get on

No, you turn it on when you are sitting, but when you are on the track about to launch, you turn it off
