cant get fuel filter off

i went to change my filter today, and i cannot get it to unscrew for the life of me, it just wont turn, i tried pb blaster, and i ended up getting the threads on the line to rotate (probably not a good thing) but i just cant get that damn thing to unscrew, suggsetions....

You are supposed to turn the nut on the line to get the filter off. You will need one wrench on the filter to hold the filter so, it wont spin and another wrench to turn the nut on the fuel line.

ok, well got it off, i just didnt think that that nut was supposed to spin, i thought it was molded into the line or something, but that helped knowing it was supposed to be free ;) thanks guys

A great tool to have to the box in a situation like that is a set of vice grips that makes basically a triangle when closed. They are used specifically for holding buts or bolts. Check out your local home depot and you'll find em. They are always handy!
