Need help with problem!

Here's the problem, if I leave my car to sit for a long time (I am guessing enough time for the engine to cool off) when I go to start my car I get a "BZZZZZZZZZZZ" sound. I will feel the vibration in the ignition and the engine wont turn. I would try again, "BZZZZZZZZZZ." Usually the third time the engine turns. If the engine is still warm or only sat for about an hour, the car would start right up with no problems.

The last major mod I did was my CAM (I got it installed about 1000 miles ago), maybe that could be a potential problem? I did have problems with my alternator and had that replaced once. I am guessing that was due to my under drive pulley.

So with the mods listed below and the story I provided above, could someone please help me or guide to an answer? Thank you [img]graemlins/wavey.gif[/img]

well it sounds like the you are having trouble with the starter. possible problems: weak battery, bad starter relay, or the starter itself is dying. the engine is going to be easier to turn when it warm so i would guess that the starter is going.

could have some bad teeth or something, they migh not hit right until a good tooth comes up on the gear.
