    i just got some new spark plug wires and ima bout to isntall them but i dont have any of those metal boots mine must have fallen off do i really need them

      how about waiting longer than 45 minutes for a response to this question, which has been answered 10000 times. just think, if you SEARCHED, you wouldn't even have to wait for a response!

      yes, the are required for the car to run right unless you have some other kind of insulation like header tape wrapped around them.

        Its better if you had them. I've run about 3 years without them and had no problems, but I do want to get some Taylor boot covers at some point.

          Mine only have the middle ones left. Don't know what happened to the others? fell off or the last owner left them off. Cars runs great the year that I have had it out here in 110 degree temps in phoenix.
