I read somewhere that 4th Gen Camaro engines only filter about 1/2 of their oil at a time. There is a mod to increase the oil flow through the filter to correct this. You of course have to use a bigger filter. Has anyone heard of this?

I don't really know what you mean by "4th Gen Camaro engines only filter about 1/2 of their oil at a time". I have never heard of anything like that. There is not a car in the world that filters all of its oil at the same time. What ever the pumps sucks up thats what get filtered. You could re-design some new oil pump to get it all but there is no need. Oil is pumped just enough to coat the parts that need it. Yes, some people have moved to a biger filter which allows them to use a little more oil but it still filters the same. I personally don't see the need for a little more oil but to each his/her own.
