I think it is just RS ground effects. It may have different suspension stuff, not to sure on that though.

Viper, you brought up a good point there as I'm wondering about my RS. There's no emblems anywhere on my vehicle stating that but I'm going to recheck my VIN # and compare with my brand new insurance card asap. I'd like to save some money too and I won't let this get away. Then again I'd have to change my name when I sign on lol, hmm...

when you put the vin in it comes up Camaro/RS meaning Camaro OR Camaro RS.

RS is an APEARANCE package. Look at my car for the features. It has the 3 piece spoiler along with the ground effects. The LSD and 3.42s are the Y87 package so not all RS's came with them. I had to add a new rear to mine to get LSD and 3.42s.

I hate how people are always claiming that they have an RS and stuff because of their vin blah blah. I especially hate seeing camaros for sale on autotrader/ebay and such saying it is a RS when it is just a base model camaro.

Hopefully this helps with the difference, again check my website out for a true RS.

I have a Camaro RS Y87, There's practically no difference except appearence unless you get a Y87 which makes it a worthwhile car. I however don't see why an RS would cost more than a base Camaro, it's only an emblem.
