Re: anyone herd of splitfire and e3 sparkplugs?
My advice dont use any spark plug with more that two tips because alot of times the spark will split between more then one tip and that makes it a weak (not as hot) spark. For example platinum fours suck!!! I usually go with ACDelco personally. But i have heard some good things about the splitfires.

Re: anyone herd of splitfire and e3 sparkplugs?
I have probably used every major sparkplug(including splitfires) in the last 8 years.
I notice near 0 difference. Only thing I ever saw was maybe a little longer life, and even that was so miniscule it woudln't affect my purchasing.
This coming from a interanally stock guy with some bolt ons. Between a 2.8L, 4.3L, 3.4L, and a 3.8L and in a way bewteen a 2.4L DOHC and 2.2L cavaliers.
Just imo....
right now I have been using Autolite 605s based on L36 grand prix reccomendations.
Cheap and seem to work fine. but my last set started giving me misfires after 12k but I was fiddling with timing and fueling a little that I might have prematurely killed them.-Eric
2000 NBM V6 Camaro 5-speed T-top converted
14.467@95.45mph $0 in mods
The member formerly known as MustangEater8251

Splitfire got sued by gov big time over their claim on a split spark which is why they're careful not to ever say they it will split the spark. In fact they ended up changing their box and advertising, which presently only shows a single spark firing.Drivetrain Moderator - "There are no stupid questions, only stupid people!"
