try closing the latch with your finger. i'm pretty sure its somehow built into the actual latch thing on the door. i think i did it once, but dont try closing the door without opening the latch again, or it probably wouldnt work out very well for the door.

my 98 has it by the hinge, but it is the bastard year, so what do you expect, not like it makes a difference with no door ajar light, and my RAP only works on occaision
