My SES light has been on sicne I bought the car. The guy I bought it from said it was because the A/C doesn't work, therefore isn't cycling or something and that it's no big deal and will go off when I fix the A/C. Well, the light comes and goes as it pleases, but I did notice that everytime it's on, my oil pressure seems to be abit lower than when it's off. With the light on, it's right below 60, and with it off, it's right above 60. I know it's not that big of a difference, and that that's a good oil pressure, but it kinda worries me. I don't have the cash to fix the A/C right now and don't have anything to read the codes it's throwing. Anyone else have/had this problem?

My oil pressure is right above 60 most of the time, it dips to a hair under 60 sometimes, but no lights come on. I really would take it to Autozone, and get a free scan from them to see what the code is. I REALLY don't think an A/C issue would cause an SES light. I thought it was only an emissions thing for the SES light. If it was oil, I would think the "Check guages" light would be the one on.

there are codes for AC stuff and its definatly not just emissions stuff. lol

Just got it scanned. They said it was an old code that was thrown and was still in the memory or some thing adn it kept bringing it on. So, they got rid of it and said it should all be fine now. It hasn't come back on yet~97 3.8L V6 Camaro~
