I dont know if this is a problem or not, but I was taking my nitrous system out (coverting to wet shot) and I took off my MAF screen and there was a small puddle of oil in the bottom of the TB. Is this bad?
I have never seen or heard of having oil in it so I do I have a serious problem or is this normal?
do we have crankshaft ventilation systems?
the only other thing i can think of right now which doesnt make too much since because of gravity and vaccum is leaking valve seals.

I was thinking along the same lines. Now I am having more trouble with the ignition system. It takes like 5-7 seconds before the dam thing finally kicks over and starts. Then it throws the P300 'Multiple Random Misfire' code.
Ugh. I am considering gettin rid of it if these problems keep coming up like this. It just isnt worth the money...
The oil is from your pcv, I have had oil in the throttle body before but I did the pcv mod when I was boosted. You could check your pcv to see if it working properly but I thought it was normal to have a little oil in the throttle body from the pcv. You could always block the pcv hole and throw on a oil cap breather.

leave the screen on. i'm too lazy to find the link but somebody posted a good write up on exactly why you shouldn't pull the screen. here are the cliffnotes:
1. pull the screen off your kitchen sink. see how the water comes out all uncontrollably and random. compare to how nice and even the flow is when the sink is in. if you were a maf sensor, which one would you wanna try and measure?
2. i've seen stuff get caught in that screen. grass blades, etc. you get the idea. dunno how it got there, dunno y, but it did and the maf screen saved me.
basically, unless you're viper04af or have a motor like his thats sucking in THAT much air, its dumb to pull it. btw, be VERY gentle with the little thing. its fragile.
another btw, get some maf sensor cleaner from napa (i think its just run-of-the-mill electronics cleaner but w/e) and spray that stuff good all over the sensor. if there're oil on it, it'll pull all sortsa weird codes. besides, its like 5 bucks fer a can
