  • 3.4L Tachometer signal pulse question

    I'm installing a 1995 3.4L into my 1980 MGB.

I will be using a interface box to allow my stock MGB tachometer to be used.

I need to know how many pulses per revolution are output from the PCM.

    Any idea?

    Thanks,
    Dave

    sounds awesome man.

my step father has a MGB as well. not sure what year but i think its pretty cool.

for a 4-cyl. it sounds awesome.

Good luck with this project.. any pics? i can take some of my dads if you want.

Re: 3.4L Tachometer signal pulse question

Here's an external view. I'm still working on the engine and wiring prep, so it will still be a little while before I can show you any engine pictures.

      Thanks,
      Dave
